The Seattle Seahawks are equipped with two third-round selections in the 2025 NFL draft. The No. 82nd pick is their own, and general manager John Schneider also acquired the 92nd selection from the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for quarterback Geno Smith. Those picks will be the fourth and fifth Schneider makes during the draft, allowing him an opportunity to address secondary needs. With the pre-draft circuit reaching its conclusion, we’ve identified three prospects who should be Seattle’s primary target at No. 82 overall specifically.
Billy Bowman Jr., S, Oklahoma
The Seahawks released veteran safety Rayshawn Jenkins from his contract earlier this season. The team signed special teams ace D’Anthony Bell in free agency, but better depth is required behind starters Coby Bryant and Julian Love. Billy Bowman Jr. is an experienced ball-hawk with 11 career interceptions.
Jared Wilson, C, Georgia
Head coach Mike Macdonald currently has Olu Oluwatimi and Jalen Sundell at center. Neither player is a proven asset at the position. Georgia’s Jared Wilson is considered one of the best center prospects in the draft, but most scouts have a third-round grade. Wilson is an elite athlete who plays with terrific leverage.
Pat Bryant II, WR, Illinois
Illinois’ Pat Bryant II is a big-bodied vertical playmaker. The Seahawks lost that skill set at wide receiver when they dealt DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bryant is an athletic playmaker on the perimeter with desirable size, production, and strength.
