Chargers are expected to hire Mike McDaniel as OC, barring a change of heart

Mike McDaniel was a candidate for the Eagles’ offensive coordinator job, but could be staying in Southern California after a Tuesday evening interview with the Chargers. Adam Schefter is reporting that McDaniel is nearing a deal to become the Chargers’ offensive coordinator.

Sirianni rightfully gets a lot of credit for the Eagles’ success, which means he’s to blame when things don’t work out, or a specific unit isn’t operating at maximum potential.
