Leeds United have submitted an official bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, according to the Telegraph. Leeds manager Daniel Farke wants more quality attacking firepower at the Elland Road for the second half of the season, and the Whites want the Norwegian. Wolves are expected to ask suitors for around £40 million for Strand Larsen, and it is unknown whether the West Yorkshire club are ready to meet their demands.

The 24-year-old is also on the radar of the likes of Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United, but it is Leeds who have made a concrete move in recent hours. The Wolves star ended last term with 14 goals in 35 league appearances and has notched six goals in 23 games so far this season. Strand Larsen bagged 13 goals in his last season at Celta Vigo before joining Wolves on loan in 2024, and Leeds are convinced he has what it takes to improve their attack.
The Whites are currently two places and eight points above the relegation zone after 22 league games, but survival is not assured yet.
