Marco Reus extends his journey in MLS
It’s official: Marco Reus will continue his journey with the Los Angeles Galaxy. The American club has announced the German forward’s contract extension through 2027.
Arriving in MLS in the summer of 2024 after leaving Borussia Dortmund, where he inspired an entire generation, Reus quickly established himself as a key figure in the Californian squad. By extending his contract, the Galaxy reaffirm their intention to build around the former German international, whose influence remains invaluable both on and off the pitch.
Since his arrival, the 36-year-old has registered 9 goals and 13 assists in 42 official matches. Yet his impact goes far beyond the stats, as highlighted by sporting director Will Kuntz: his experience and leadership are vital to the group.
