Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali has been linked with a summer exit, with Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United mentioned as potential suitors.
The Italian has been one of the Magpies’ stand-out players since his arrival from Milan. Even after his betting ban, the midfielder has reached new heights and is now attracting deserved attention from the bigger sides in England.

Tonali’s agent Beppe Riso spoke to Calcio E Finanza about his situation at Newcastle United, the deal and a possible exit.
When asked about the move to St James’ Park came about, he responded: “The deal came about because a club like Newcastle with unlimited financial resources had decided to invest in Sandro. We considered the idea of having the player play in a higher-level league.”
When asked about a possible exit from Tyneside to potentially Arsenal or Manchester City, Riso said: “Exactly, that was the goal from the moment he went to England – to try to make him a star player. I think he’s the Italian footballer with one of the highest values in the world.”
Riso also spoke of how the English football fans reacted to Tonali’s betting problem in a very supportive way and this helped the midfielder.

“In England, the mentality is different, and every time Sandro entered the stadium, despite his suspension, he received a standing ovation from the crowd. We’re talking about a guy who made a mistake, the fans noticed, and he was forgiven. Now, Sandro has completely changed.”
Tonali is likely to have a massive valuation in the summer transfer window. Juventus have constantly been mentioned as a destination too but his valuation is likely to blow the Italian side out of the water for a possible transfer.
