OMG! The Mouse is ready for another comeback!!
Disney+ has officially ordered a pilot for a brand-new version of The Mickey Mouse Club, proving that everything old really does become new again! But before anyone gets too excited, this is just a pilot for now — and not a full series order. Er, um, yet! (We hope!)

According to Deadline on Thursday, the reboot is being developed by Fulwell Entertainment, with production set to begin in El Lay later this month. And per People, Disney says the new take on the iconic franchise will be a showcase for “today’s most talented young performers,” with music, innovation, and self-expression taking center stage.
Oh, and yes, there’s already a fresh crop of Mouseketeers! The 11-member cast includes young actors Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts, Yonas Kibreab, Erianthe Akaata, Scarlett London Diviney, Michael Cash, Varonica Mitchell, Kauani, Scarlett Grace Petty, and Carter Barnes.
Of course, this reboot has some seriously famous shoes to fill! The franchise knows ALL about launching stars, with the legendary 1989-1996 version helping introduce future superstars Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell, and JC Chasez, all loooong before they became household names.
Now, Disney is hoping lightning can strike twice with a brand-new generation of young talent!
Will this new class of Mouseketeers produce the next Britney or Ryan??? We’ll have to wait and see!
