Whoopi Goldberg just made pregnant Anne Hathaway cry on live TV!
On Monday’s installment of The View, Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon promoted their new film The Odyssey alongside director Christopher Nolan — but the conversation quickly went in a very different direction!
While talking to Anne, who revealed she’s currently expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman last month, Whoopi made her cry… Happy tears! She said:
“Anne Hathaway, it’s been wonderful watching you. It’s been wonderful watching you grow up, and you have just blossomed into this fabulous actress. Girl, you need to know. You need to know.”
Anne immediately burst into tears over the praise, joking:
“No, don’t! … I would be fine if I wasn’t pregnant right now!”
