The FDA Is Now Tracking A SECOND Explosive Diarrhea Outbreak! Details!

Just when you thought one outbreak of explosive diarrhea was enough, BOOM! Another one! We wish we were joking.

We’ve been following the Cyclospora cayetanensis outbreak for a while now… You know, the diarrhea-inducing parasite that’s being linked to shredded lettuce coming from Taylor Farms? The one that’s confirmed to have infected over 4,000 Americans with the possibility of 7,000 more across nearly all 50 states? Well unfortunately, the FDA is now tracking a NEW explosive diarrhea outbreak.

According to their website, the administration is investigating a second Cyclospora outbreak that has already infected at least 70 Americans. The outbreak is SEPARATE from the one that had been connected to Taylor Farms, and is currently hitting the midwest the hardest. As of now, no concrete source has been identified for this second outbreak, but a “traceback” investigation is currently underway, according to the FDA website. Read their statement (below):

“A new outbreak of Cyclospora linked to a not yet identified product has been added to the table. FDA has initiated traceback.”

Well that’s just GREAT. Our skies are filled with smoke, our food is covered with parasites, and AI is being allowed to take over. And it’s not even Friday yet!
