Anbe Diana follows Sita Krishna, a traditional Telugu youth from Perambur, Chennai, who runs an athletics camp and has secretly loved Magic Diana, a modern Anglo-Indian IT professional, for years. When Magic finally reciprocates his feelings, Krishna becomes hesitant because of his conservative upbringing and his strict mother, Sarala, who insists that he marry within their community.
Unable to oppose his mother, Krishna agrees to an arranged engagement with his cousin. However, he soon regrets the decision and realises that he wants to be with Magic. With the help of his friend Baba, Krishna attempts to undo the engagement and win Magic back.
The story then descends into chaos, with misunderstandings, family confrontations, and frantic attempts to resolve the romantic situation, culminating in a lively sequence around the wedding celebrations.

Written and directed by Pari Elavazhagan, the film is produced by Sathya Karikalan, Era Saravanan, and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banners of Million Dollar Studios, Neo Castle Creations, and Era Entertainments. Bharath Sankar has composed the film’s songs and background score, while Shelley Calist handled the cinematography and Partha MA served as the editor.
The film received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics during its theatrical run.
