Spider-Man: Brand New Day India Box Office: Tom Holland’s film records good spike on 4th Saturday, nears Rs 570 crore mark

Spider-Man: Brand New Day collected Rs. 4.50 crore on its fourth Saturday, registering a 125 per cent spike from the previous day. The Tom Holland-led superhero action film is looking to close its fourth weekend around Rs. 10-11 crore, which will take its running cume close to the Rs. 570 crore gross mark at the Indian box office.

From there, it will need Rs. 30 crore more to enter the Rs. 600 crore gross club; however, it seems out of sight for now, as the movie will face a significant release, Toxic, from the coming weekend. That said, the movie is expected to slow down its pace. Nevertheless, the movie has already emerged as an All-Time Blockbuster in India.

There are probably seven other films since Jurassic Park in 1994 that can be classified as ATBBs, including Titanic, Avatar, The Jungle Book, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Avatar: The Way of Water. Other potential contenders are Spider-Man 3, 2012, and Furious 7.

The Tom Holland film could also go on to hit 2 crore footfalls, which only two films have managed to do: Titanic and Avengers: Endgame. Brand New Day is currently the third-most-watched Hollywood film in India, with footfalls of around 1.9 crore.
