Juraj Pekarcik isn’t a forgotten prospect for the St. Louis Blues. The third-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft probably hasn’t received the notoriety some of his fellow Blues prospects has, but the forward should.

The 19-year-old put up three goals and two assists in three games this past week, upping his point streak to four games (three goals, three assists) in helping Moncton of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League win the outright regular season title and extend the Wildcats’ winning streak to 10.

Moncton (48-9-2-0) have 98 points and will enter the QMJHL postseason as the top overall seed and Pekarcik, who has 15 points in eight of the past nine games (four goals, 11 assists) has been a big reason why.

He opened the scoring in a 3-2 win against Rimouski Océanic on Wednesday:

After adding two assists in a 4-1 win against Sherbrooke on Friday, Pekarcik scored a pair on Saturday in Moncton’s 5-2 win against Blainville-Boisbriand:

He would score this blistering wrister off a face-off win to give Moncton a lead for good at 2-1:

Pekarcik is now up to 61 points (23 goals, 38 assists) in 50 games; his points are second on the team, third in goals and is tied for first with 14 power-play points.
