The New York Jets are showing big interest in the 2025 NFL draft’s top defensive tackle.
Michigan’s Mason Graham has a pre-draft visit in New York, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. It’s one of several times the team and player have chatted which indicates significant interest:
Most agree that Graham is a top-10 prospect which means the Jets would need to use their top selection at No. 7 overall if they hope to land him.
The defensive tackle position in New York has been revamped this offseason which is why Graham could be on their radar. Jay Tufele, Byron Cowart and others signed to replace holes during free agency. While the Jets defense could use a “space eater” next to Quinnen Williams, pairing him and Graham would be an elite duo that could get after the quarterback in the middle of the defensive line.
Graham won the 2023 NCAA football championship with Michigan. He performed even better last season. Graham put up 45 tackles, including seven for loss, with 3.5 sacks in 12 games played.
