What Patriots got for the Day 2 trade with Chiefs

The New England Patriots traded the 85th overall pick to the Kansas City Chiefs on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL draft on Friday. In exchange, they received the 95th overall pick and a 2026 fourth-round pick.

With the 95th pick, the Patriots selected Georgia center Jared Wilson. So they managed to add one of the best interior blockers in the draft while also adding a fourth-round pick to their 2026 arsenal. Most would consider that a major win for New England.

It was a busy day overall for the team, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. They selected Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson and Washington State wide receiver Kyle Williams before the Wilson pick.

The Patriots have a slew of draft picks to continue stockpiling talent on Day 3. They’ll enter the final stretch of the draft with six picks still left on the board.

The event is slated to resume at 12:00 p.m. ET with the Patriots coming up at No. 106 in the fourth round.
