The Oklahoma City Thunder held playoff practice on Sunday. After a week’s wait, they finally learned their Round 2 opponent will be the Denver Nuggets. A Game 7 win over the LA Clippers punched their ticket to OKC as Game 1 will kick off on Monday.
The Thunder enter their second-round series as the favorite. While the Nuggets have Nikola Jokic and one of the best starting lineups, their lack of depth and older age could bite them against OKC.
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and Alex Caruso talked to the local media. It was the first time they had the chance to speak about the Nuggets matchup. Daigneault discussed the MVP conversation that’ll cloud the playoff series while Caruso talked about defending Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook.
