Role Description
As a Salesforce Developer, you will design, build, and maintain custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, leveraging tools like Flows, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems
- Ensure high-quality development through testing and best practices
- Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, process automation, reports, and dashboards
- Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs
- Participate in refining user stories, code reviews, perform unit testing, integration and functional testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce implementations and integrations
- Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and departments as needed
- Document technical solutions, processes, and development work for future reference
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration
- Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, coding standards, change control, and version management
- Proficient in Flows, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), SOQL, and SOSL
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, including flows, validation rules, and process automation
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including roles, profiles, and sharing rules
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus
