Role Description

As a Salesforce Developer, you will design, build, and maintain custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, leveraging tools like Flows, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems
  • Ensure high-quality development through testing and best practices
  • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, process automation, reports, and dashboards
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs
  • Participate in refining user stories, code reviews, perform unit testing, integration and functional testing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce implementations and integrations
  • Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and departments as needed
  • Document technical solutions, processes, and development work for future reference

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration
  • Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, coding standards, change control, and version management
  • Proficient in Flows, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), SOQL, and SOSL
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration, including flows, validation rules, and process automation
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including roles, profiles, and sharing rules
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus
