Patrick Mahomes quickly established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL early in his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.
After eight seasons with the Chiefs, Mahomes has led the organization to three Super Bowl titles while earning two All-Pro honors and six Pro Bowl appearances.
On Sunday, the two-time MVP shared some exciting news. Mahomes received a great honor for his football career, being inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.
“Whitehouse, Texas is where it all began,” Mahomes said. “It’s an honor to be inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.”
Upon the release of the news, Mahomes also announced that Adidas and himself are signing 15 high schools under “Team Mahomes,” meaning 15 high schools will be representing the Gladiator logo on their uniform.
“As a part of this recognition, I’m proud to announce that @adidasfballus and I are signing 15 high schools to Team Mahomes that will represent my Gladiator logo on uniform, starting with Whitehouse High School,” Mahomes continued. “This is just the beginning.”

Last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Mahomes posted 26 touchdowns and 3,928 yards, completing 67.5% of his pass attempts.
Mahomes led the Chiefs to its third straight Super Bowl appearance, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the final game of the season.
