Rams to face Jaguars in London

The Rams are 2-0 in international games under Sean McVay

The Los Angeles Rams are heading abroad for the first time since 2019. The NFL announced that the Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars will square off in London in Week 7 this season. The game will be played at Wembley Stadium, home of England’s national football team.

The date is Oct. 19 at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network.

This is the Rams’ first international game since 2019 when they beat the Cincinnati Bengals, 24-10, at Wembley Stadium. That game was against former Rams assistant, Zac Taylor, just as this one will be against Liam Coen, another former Rams coach.

The Rams have played just two international games under Sean McVay, though they were scheduled to face the Chiefs in Mexico City in 2018 before field conditions forced the game to be relocated to Los Angeles. They’re 2-0 in those games under McVay, also beating the Cardinals in 2017, 33-0.

The Jaguars added Travis Hunter in the NFL draft this year, so the Rams will get a look at the electric two-way player, who was the No. 2 overall pick. Trevor Lawrence has a bevy of weapons to work with on offense now so the Jags are going to be a real test for the Rams in London.
