Cowboys wrapped up OTAs, but the Hard Knocks will continue


While Dallas will be featured on HBO’s Hard Knock series this year, owner Jerry Jones and 21 other owners fell short of banning the Tush Push.

The Cowboys are the most-watched entity in the world, so it only made sense for the NFL to capitalize on their popularity by selecting Dallas, along with their division rivals, to feature in the 2025 in-season episodes of Hard Knocks. Fans will get an inside look at what goes on inside the building during regular season practices and game days and will allow followers to get a peek at the rituals of the Cowboys’ competitors.

Elsewhere, for at least another year, NFL fans must endure commentators say “The Tush Push,” a play so dominant that 22 teams, including the Cowboys, voted to eliminate it. 24 votes are needed for any proposed rule to pass. Back on the field, the first OTA session concluded with session No. 3, but with the media restricted fans were left to interview comments and not descriptions of the action. The re-evolution of one DaRon Bland was not televised, but it is speculated on.
