Updated first pitch time announced for Tennessee-Miami baseball game

No. 14 national seed Tennessee (43-16) will host a Knoxville Regional game Friday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Vols will host No. 4 regional seed Miami University (35-21).

First pitch between the Vols and Redhawks was scheduled for 6 p.m. EDT. The contest is in a weather delay and is now scheduled to start at 7:06 p.m. EDT and can be watched on SEC Network+.

“Due to weather in the area, game two of the Knoxville Regional will now begin at 7:06 p.m. EDT,” Tennessee announced.

No. 3 regional seed Cincinnati (33-24) defeated No. 2 regional seed Wake Forest (36-21), 11-6, in the first game of the Knoxville Regional on Friday.

The winner of the Knoxville Regional will advance to a super regional.

Super regionals are scheduled for June 6-9 and the College World Series is June 13-23 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 16 2025 NCAA Tournament regional host teams are: Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Coastal Carolina, Florida State, North Carolina, Oregon, Oregon State, Southern Miss and UCLA.
