It seems like a long time from now, but in about four months, the Los Angeles Lakers will get back to work when the 2025-26 NBA preseason begins.
The hope is that by then, they will have at least one serviceable center and improved guard and wing depth, as well as more athleticism and 3-point shooting, on their roster.
Preseason is the time of year when fans in different parts of Southern California, as well as in Las Vegas, can get an up-close-and-personal look at the Lakers by seeing them play in a local arena. This October will be no different.
The franchise released its home preseason schedule, and it will include games in greater Palm Springs and Las Vegas.
The team’s full preseason schedule will be released at a later date. The full schedule for the 2025-26 season is expected to drop sometime later this summer, perhaps in August.
