World No. 1 Judd Trump and close friend Jack Lisowski are set to gear up for the start of the new snooker season by competing in an exhibition event in Hong Kong this week.
The two-day tournament will be staged by the Queen Elizabeth Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday with former International Championship winner Zhang Anda, Thai speed merchant Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and young Chinese player Chen Qien also taking part.
Trump has moved from England to live in Hong Kong with fellow world champions Ronnie O’Sullivan and Neil Robertson also accepting invites to live in the city under the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme.
“And I’m very grateful now that people that maybe didn’t know or understand can see how serious and happy I am to be able to spend so much time there.
“So it’s perfect for me.”
