Beloved halftime performer Red Panda injured during WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final

Tuesday night’s WNBA Commissioner’s Cup championship game unfortunately saw a huge injury, but not one sustained by either player on the Minnesota Lynx or Indiana Fever.

Beloved acrobat and halftime performer Rong “Krystal” Niu, better known by her stage name as Red Panda, reportedly fell off her unicycle early in her halftime performance at Target Center and was seen holding her left wrist, per MinnPost’s Patrick Borzi.

Borzi shared that she was taken off the court in a wheelchair, with ESPN’s Michael Voepel adding that she tried to walk off the court on her own power before being tended to by medical personnel.

The Athletic’s Ben Pickman shared video of Red Panda being helped off the court to her wheelchair.

Hopefully, Red Panda will be back in action in no time with her beloved halftime shows. We’ll keep you updated once we hear more about her injury.
