Here’s every LSU baseball selected in the 2026 MLB Draft

The 2025 MLB Draft is in the books. As always, a handful of LSU baseball players heard their names called. Left-handed pitcher Kade Anderson was the first go as the Seattle Mariners took the LSU ace with the No. 3 overall pick. Chase Shores was next, going to the Angels at pick No. 47.

Anderson became the fourth LSU player to be a first-round pick in the Jay Johnson era. He joined Jacob Berry (2022), Paul Skenes (2023), and Dylan Crews (2023). It didn’t take long for Skenes and Crews to reach the majors. Anderson will hope to join Seattle at a similar pace.

Anthony Eyanson and Ethan Frey also heard their names called on day one.

The draft resumed at the top of the fourth round on Monday morning, where LSU’s presence continued to be felt.

In total, nine LSU players were selected. That doesn’t mean all nine will sign, though. That will be worked on in the coming days as signing bonuses are negotiated. In a few weeks, we’ll have a better idea of how LSU baseball’s 2026 roster is shaping up.
