By the numbers: 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay
How big is the draft campus, really? How many lighting fixtures are being installed? How many employees did the NFL hire for the event?
(This story will be updated.)
The 2025 NFL Draft didn’t contribute $20 million to the Green Bay area economy and $94 million to Wisconsin’s. It exceeded those expectations, by a wide margin in local spending.
Post-draft studies released by draft organizers on July 16, said local spending equaled $72.9 million and statewide spending was $104 million. Total attendance was 600,000, with 362,588 unique visitors.
“That incredible. We’ve never seen events like this,” said Brad Toll, CEO of Discover Green Bay. “We’ve never seen events like that.”
Visitor reactions to the Lambeau/Titletown/Resch complex as the draft site was 60% excellent and 24% above average. Visitors said the Green Bay region as host was 61.2% excellent and 28% good.
“That’s the kind of impression we want people to leave with,” Toll said.
Discover Green Bay, the region’s destination marketing agency, hired SportsImpacts’ Patrick Rishe to study how the three-day event measured up to early projections.
The draft was held April 24-26, centered on the Lambeau Field campus.
