Accounting & Finance Senior Associate

This is a remote position.

• Act as a genuine second-in-command to the Financial Controller, owning key financial processes.
• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable, including fortnightly debtor reports and customer follow-ups.
• Support the month-end close process: bank and inter-company reconciliations, prepayments, depreciation, and balance sheet reviews.
• Assist with treasury and cash management, including cash flow forecasts and liquidity optimization.
• Work with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance.
• Mentor junior team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• 5–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.

• Hands-on expertise with Xero and intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc.).

• Prior experience with Maxio or Chargebee is a major plus – be sure to highlight this!

• A strong grasp of accounting principles and proven ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations.

• A methodical and tidy work style with strong attention to detail.

• A self-starter mindset, with comfort operating independently while knowing when to escalate.
