Bobby Lada blasted two home runs for Yuba-Sutter Sunday afternoon, and the High Wheelers handed the Glacier Range Riders their third straight Pioneer League loss at Glacier Bank Park, 11-7.
Lada hit his 13th long ball of the season in the first inning to put Yuba-Sutter (16-20 in second half) ahead 1-0. Connor Denning tripled shortly after to extend the lead to 3-0.
River Orsak hit an RBI single in the top of the second inning, putting Glacier (17-19) into an early 4-0 deficit.
Jack Lynch scored on a wild pitch and the Range Riders scored three more runs in the bottom of the second to tie the game 4-4.
The High Wheelers responded quickly in the third with RBI doubles from Evan Berkey and Randy Flores.
After three scoreless innings from both teams, Yuba-Sutter pushed across two more runs in the seventh. In the eighth Orsak hit another RBI single before Lada went yard again, a two-run shot, to extend the lead 11-4.
Glacier found momentum in the last two innings before High Wheelers reliever Zach Voelker struck out Kyle Ashworth with the bases loaded to end the game.
Glacier heads to Great Falls to start a three-game series Tuesday. The teams then return to Kalispell for another three-game series.
