Raiders, Chargers Week 2 Friday injury report: One starter back, another down

The Raiders had their second practice of the week in preparation for their matchup with the Chargers on Monday night. And while they got linebacker Elandon Roberts back, they did not get TE Brock Bowers. Even worse, he was joined on the sideline by starting guard Jackson Powers-Johnson.

The Chargers were again without middle linebacker Denzel Perryman (ankle) along with DB Elijah Molden who was downgraded with a hamstring injury.

Roberts was limited in practice for the Raiders, which means he's no guarantee to be able to play in the game. Bowers seemed like he might have more of a chance to return this with the way Pete Carroll was talking about him wanting to return to the game on Sunday.

The difference here could be a matter of Bowers dealing with a lower body injury and Roberts an upper body injury.

There is still one practice on Saturday for Bowers to return to the field along with JPJ.
