Serge Gnabry is off to a hot start to his 2025/26 campaign for Bayern Munich — but even hotter is that of his teammate, Harry Kane.
Gnabry and Kane have formed a potent one-two punch thus far in the season. Kane is still the nominal striker, but as usual is accustomed to drop deep as well, while Gnabry, in a free-roaming playmaking role, can also burst forward. While Gnabry has three league goals already to his name, Kane has a remarkable eight.
And there’s no telling where that tally ends up.
“I think sky is the limit for him,” Gnabry said of Kane’s goal mark this year, in comments captured by @iMiaSanMia. “The way he’s been scoring goals is really astonishing. We’ll see how many goals he’ll score in the end, but we all hope he continues this way.”
Robert Lewandowski’s single-season Bundesliga mark stands at 41 from 29 games. Kane, for the moment, is averaging a cool two per game.
