Lake Travis (TX) leads Austin Bowie (TX) 56-14 in 2nd half: Live updates, score of Thursday night Texas tilt

Lake Travis will be at home Thursday night to begin its District 26-6A schedule.

Though for the Cavaliers, they technically aren’t at their home stadium. This season, Lake Travis is playing its home games at Dripping Springs due to renovations going on at its stadium, and Thursday, the Cavs play host to Austin Bowie.

The Cavaliers enter their district opener at 4-0, which featured a win at Rockwall on Sept. 5 – the same Rockwall team that last week upset defending UIL 6A Division I state champion North Crowley. Lake Travis is also ranked No. 24 in the latest edition of The Sporting News Texas Top 25 rankings.

It’s also the 26-6A opener for Austin Bowie, as the Bulldogs come in at 3-1 having won two straight games, the latest a 29-10 triumph against Converse Judson.
