No. 13 Ole Miss takes down No. 4 LSU 24-19

No. 13 Ole Miss held on for a 24-19 win over No. 4 LSU as the Rebels are now 3-0 with backup quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.

The Ferris State transfer helped Ole Miss run out the clock after LSU cut the deficit to five with 5:04 to go on a TD run by Harlem Bailey. Ole Miss never gave the ball back to LSU after the TD thanks to a fourth-down conversion with less than two minutes to go.

After Chambliss ran out of bounds on a third down play with LSU out of timeouts, Ole Miss and coach Lane Kiffin decided to go for it on fourth down needing just three yards. It worked out beautifully, as Chambliss found a wide open Dae’Quan Wright for the first down.
