Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss the start of training camp as he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Bucks general manager Jon Horst made the announcement Sept. 29 at Bucks media day, which Antetokounmpo was scheduled to attend.
Horst added Antetokounmpo still is in Greece and cannot travel. The Bucks will open training camp practices in Milwaukee on Sept. 30.
“He had an incredible offseason with the (Greek) national team, he’s in great shape and when he joins us for camp, he’s going to really hit the ground dribbling and running and he’s in great shape,” Horst said.
