MSU commit, 4-star WR Samson Gash picks up offer from fellow Big Ten school

One of the Spartans’ top commits in the 2026 class has picked up an offer from a fellow Big Ten rival.

Samson Gash of Novi, Mich. announced on Tuesday that he has received an offer from Wisconsin. Gash made the offer from the Badgers known by posting on his social media X account.

Gash is a four-star wide receiver and ranked as one of the top commits in Michigan State’s 2026 class at the moment. He is ranked as the No. 362 overall prospect in the class and No. 49 wide receiver, according to 247Sports. He is also listed as the No. 4 player from Michigan in the class.

Michigan State is in the midst of fending off a number of big-time schools that are making a run at Gash. Outside of this offer from Wisconsin, Gash is also expected to take an official visit to Alabama this upcoming weekend for the Crimson Tide’s home game against LSU. So while Gash is still committed to Michigan State, it appears that commitment could be in danger with how things have shaken out this fall.
