That said, don’t rule out the possibility of Moore being ready on Day 1. He’s still very young and inexperienced, but his poise and arm talent are outstanding.
In a quarterback class with no clear-cut top option and so many players who have lacked consistency, Moore has been a steady riser. This alone makes him enticing but I agree with the author that he might not be ready to step into a full-time starting role as a rookie. With only this single season of film to go off of, every game will be vital for Moore to keep pace with guys like Ty Simpson and Fernando Mendoza as the top quarterback prospect.
