Is Nolan Smith playing today? Latest injury update for Week 10

Eagles edge rusher Nolan Smith has been out with a triceps injury, but intends to return Monday night against the Packers

The Eagles are getting healthier, and on Tuesday, they opened the 21-day practice window for Nolan Smith after a five-game absence.

Smith was placed on Injured Reserve after Philadelphia’s win over the Los Angeles Rams with a triceps injury. In three games this year, Smith has eight pressures, a forced fumble, and 10 tackles, and he’ll return to a revamped unit that has seen Za’Darius Smith retire, Brandon Graham unretire, and Philadelphia acquire Jaelan Phillips from the Dolphins.

“It feels good,” Smith said. “I’m happy to be back at practice, happy to be back at work with my guys.”

Including Nolan Smith, the Eagles’ edge rushers are now Jalyx Hunt, Graham, Phillips, and Joshua Uche. In the NFC Wild Card game from last season, Smith had a breakout performance, logging eight tackles and two sacks.
