Suns get bad news on star guard

The Jalen Green era of Phoenix Suns basketball isn’t off to the best start.

The prized trade acquisition from the Houston Rockets in the offseason will be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks for a right hamstring strain, per ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania.

NICO HARRISON: 5 moves that got him fired (besides the Luka trade)

Green literally just made his Suns debut this past Thursday coming off an injury, scoring 29 points in his first 2025 game against the Los Angeles Clippers. His second game saw him limited to seven minutes and two points.

The Suns will have to learn to play without Green once again, as this injury should put him out for a good bit of the remaining 2025 NBA schedule. Perhaps he could get back around Christmastime?
