UNC football linebacker to enter transfer portal

The North Carolina Tar Heels had an impressive day on Wednesday in the early signing period, flipping a few recruits to add to the 2026 class. But in a few weeks, the focus will be on the transfer portal in hopes of improving the roster.

On Thursday, one Tar Heel revealed his plans for the next step in his career. Linebacker Khmori House is planning on entering the transfer portal when it opens up in January, per his agency.

House spent one season with the Tar Heels, following Steve Belichick from Washington to North Carolina. He finished his first season with 45 total tackles, an interception, a sack and a forced fumble.

House is the latest Tar Heel to enter the transfer portal just a few days after the team ended a disappointing season with a loss to NC State.
