The second word in the name of this site is basketball and we love basketball. Born and bred on roundball. When it’s summer, we wish it was winter just so we could get some more hoops in. The cold is absolutely worth it, as Duke proved this week in the win over Florida.
But the first word is also important, because like many of you, we bleed Duke Blue. And the idea that Duke football is in the ACC Championship? How exciting is that?

Yet a lot of people are mocking Duke for being there. But you know what? Duke did what it had to do to get there, and several other schools didn’t. It was supposed to be Miami, or if not Miami, then Clemson and if not Clemson, then Florida State.
Just not Duke, because Duke is a basketball school. Yet here they are, in the ACC Championship. And they have a chance at winning it, too.
Duke football released this hype video for Saturday’s game and our favorite part of the whole thing is the they got that good man, former coach David Cutcliffe, to narrate it.
Think about that: he’s the man who rebuilt Duke football into something that demanded respect, and even though we’re sure the end of his career didn’t happen the way he wanted, he was willing to come back to narrate this video. What does that tell you?

What it tells you is that Cutcliffe, like current coach Manny Diaz, sees something special in Duke football. And on Saturday, they have a chance to make everyone else see it too.
Watch this before the game and if Duke ends up ACC champs, send it to every doubter you know and tell them: Yes, Duke.
