A-State Men’s Basketball Signs Chudi Dioramma

Arkansas State men’s basketball head coach Ryan Pannone has announced the addition of transfer Chudi Dioramma to the 2025-26 roster. Dioramma, originally from London, England, and born in Budapest, Hungary, comes from Sacramento State, where he played in all 32 games last season. He averaged 5.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks per game, while shooting 62 percent from the field.

Pannone highlighted Dioramma’s skills as a 6-10 forward who can handle the ball and pass effectively. He emphasized Dioramma’s potential to develop as a shooter and praised his value, stating that the team will benefit from his skills in their offensive strategy. Dioramma is also noted for his positive personality, which he refers to as the “Chudi Effect.”

“Chudi – a 6-10 forward – is a skilled big guy that can handle the ball, pass, and we think he can really develop as a shooter,” Pannone said. “We think he’s incredibly undervalued within the portal and we’re incredibly excited to get him. We think his upside is really high, and the way that we’re going to play, we play a lot through the bigs, so being able to have skilled passers and processors is really important to us in the way that we want to flow offensively. He’s a tremendous human being. I think our fans and our people are going to love who he is as a person, and the personality he brings to the program, which he has coined as the ‘Chudi Effect.’ We’re excited overall for everything that he can give us on the floor and off the floor, and bring to this program and community.”

During his time at Sacramento State, Dioramma improved his scoring average in conference play to 6.7 points and recorded several standout performances, including a perfect 9-for-9 shooting game against Idaho. His 40-minute averages were impressive, with 18.2 points and 11.7 rebounds per game.

Before college, Dioramma excelled at Haringey Sixth Form in London, where he averaged over 26 points and 20 rebounds per game. He received numerous accolades, including First Team All-Academy Basketball League honors. He also led his high school teams to league championships and was awarded the Jack Petchy Achievement Award for exceptional achievement.

Dioramma is the fifth addition to Pannone’s roster for the upcoming season, joining Jalen Hampton, Chandler Jackson, Matt Hayman, and TJ Caldwell.
