Anil Kapoor reflects on 44 years of Kahan Kahan Se Guzar Gaya, pays tribute to legends
On February 14, Anil Kapoor shared a picture on Instagram, offering glimpses from the sets of Kahan Kahan Se Guzar Gaya. In a heartfelt note, he reflected on how Hollywood legends like Marlon Brando and James Dean influenced him during his early acting training. He also reminisced about working with the film’s legendary director and the acclaimed cinematographer and photographer, Nemai Ghosh.
Sharing the snippets, Anil Kapoor wrote, “When I started training as an actor I drew inspiration from Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire and James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause. Their presence was always in the back of my mind—guiding, influencing, inspiring. They have always been a source of admiration for me.”
He added, “#44YearsOfKahanKahanSeGuzarGaya! Directed by the legendary MS Sathyu, with stunning cinematography by Ishan Arya and unforgettable moments captured by the iconic Nemai Ghosh. Honoured to be part of this journey.”
Anil Kapoor is gearing up for his next film, Subedaar, an action drama directed by Suresh Triveni. Produced by Opening Image Films and Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network (AKFCN), the film features Kapoor as Subedar Arjun Maurya and co-stars Radhika Madan. It is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
Anil Kapoor will also be seen in Geetu Mohandas’s Toxic, co-starring Kiara Advani, Shruti Haasan, and Tara Sutaria, with Huma Qureshi reportedly playing the antagonist. The film is set to release this year. Additionally, he has upcoming projects in the YRF Spy Universe, including Alpha and War 2.
