Brandin Cooks’ future with the Buffalo Bills is unknown… just like Keon Coleman’s… but these are two very different circumstances.
During a mess of a press conference after the team fired Sean McDermott as head coach, Coleman’s name became a talking point because of Bills owner Terry Pegula.

At this point, the entire NFL world knows about it.
Cooks is simply a pending free agent. The veteran signed in Buffalo during the 2025 season. Because of the criticism of Coleman, many believe he will leave the Bills this offseason.
Despite the uncertainties, Cooks made it known during an appearance on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” that he is backing Coleman.
“Definitely in touch with Keon,” Cooks said. “I think he’s misunderstood.”
Cooks adamantly backed Coleman’s talent and noted he did reach out to his fellow wide receiver in a sincere manner.
