The Cleveland Browns have suffered an onslaught of injuries against the Tennessee Titans.
The Browns lost starting wide receiver Cedric Tillman during the fourth quarter. Tillman sustained a concussion after receiving a nasty blow to the head. Tillman was trying to make a tough catch over the middle when Titans’ safety Xavier Woods launched his shoulder into Tillman’s helmet. Tillman was immediately knocked down to the ground and started fencing. Browns and Titans players signaled the medical staff to come to the field immediately after the play. The refs threw a flag on Woods for targeting. The penalty helped extend the Browns’ drive. They would later score six points to cut the Titans’ lead from 14 to 8.

The Browns lack the receiving talent to lose valuable starters like Tillman. Tillman has been battling a variety of injuries throughout the season. Tillman is a valuable receiver for the Browns. He’s the team’s biggest target. They need Tillman on the field to build trust with the young quarterback. Hopefully, Tillman can return to the Browns next week when they face the Chicago Bears.
