The Washington Commanders are reportedly looking to trade running back Brian Robinson, according to NBC’s Pro Football Talk. Robinson did not play in Monday evening’s preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Commanders coach Dan Quinn was asked about the situation postgame, confirming that both he and general manager Adam Peters had spoken with Robinson to inform him of the team’s intention. He added that there were “a lot of moving parts” and that “news like that’s always not easy.”
Additionally, Quinn said that he met with the team as well. That in mind, it would seem that Robinson’s time with the team is indeed done.
