Eagles rookie Kyle McCord offers elite praise for Nick Sirianni

Kyle McCord recently earned himself an interview and offered Nick Sirianni an elite compliment.

There’s no longer any need to attempt debating. Nick Sirianni has that dog in him that Jason Kelce once spoke about. Hungry hounds do indeed run faster. The Philadelphia Eagles’ head coach has lapped the field. Had we not seen it for ourselves, some of the story might be hard to believe.

Twelve months ago, people were calling for his job—fans, media, everyone. And if you said you always believed, you’re probably lying to everyone else.

Receipts have been stored and filed away. We all had our doubts. But, fast forward to the present, and nothing can be taken from this real-life ‘Rocky Balboa’. Coach Sirianni peeled himself from the canvas and has added the phrase ‘Super Bowl-winning head coach’ to his resume. The Eagles awarded him with an extension and did so with one year remaining on his current deal.

Rookie Kyle McCord speaks highly of Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni.

Typically, speaking for others is a no-no. The liberty to do so will be taken here. Sometimes, it’s good to be proven wrong, and Nick is the best example we have seen recently.

The only constant in football is that things will often change. That’s true of every level, and that’s true of the media that covers this great game.

Kyle McCord’s football journey has taken him from Philly (St. Joseph’s Preparatory) to Columbus (Ohio State Buckeyes). He transferred to Syracuse and led the Orange for one season. This past April, and was drafted by the Birds and will play in Philadelphia again as QB3 of the Eagles.

Kay Adams was once an NFL Network mainstay. She now pilots her brand, Up & Adams. Recently, she invited Kyle McCord to sit with her as a guest.

Howie Roseman and Philly didn’t pursue or draft Kyle McCord by accident or show concern when Sirianni’s approval rating fell. It appears the CEO head coach idea can work in the NFL. Howie’s decision to stick with Nick paid off. Philly is again the defending Super Bowl champions.

We can credit Coach Sirianni and the culture he has created for being part of the reason. Look no further than the words of a newly added rookie.

McCord couldn’t be in a better situation. He joins a QB room that includes Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson. It would be nice to be a fly on the wall for some of those meetings.
