LSU football is one of the best when it comes to producing NFL talent. Over the last 25 years, few programs match LSU’s level of recruiting and development. LSU became an NFL factory when Nick Saban took over the program in 1999. Ed Orgeron and Les Miles continued the tradition. Now under Brian Kelly, LSU continues to pump out talent.
With the NFL Draft upon us again, and several LSU players set to be selected, let’s take a look at every LSU draft pick under Kelly so far.
Kelly got to LSU in late 2021 and took over a rebuilding program. LSU’s talent level wasn’t where it usually is, which led to LSU not having a first-round pick in 2023. However, LSU still have five players drafted that year.
Last year, Kelly’s program sent three first-round players to the draft, headlined by No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels. Overall, six Tigers were drafted in 2024.
