Finn Wolfhard is making a directorial debut with a highly intriguing tale, Hell of a Summer. However, it was all possible because of Jesse Eisenberg, whom the It actor credited for being a fun person to work with and being an inspiration.
For those unversed, the trio, Finn Wolfhard, his co-writer/co-director/co-star Billy Bryk, and Jesse Eisenberg worked on the Social Network actor’s 2022 directorial debut When You Finish Saving the World.
Now opening up to Yahoo Entertainment, Finn Wolfhard recalled the time the actor from A Real Pain had visited his movie set and was supportive of his work.
“There’s footage of it somewhere on a handy cam,” the Stranger Things actor mentioned.
Further talking about Jesse Eisenberg showing interest, Wolfhard stated, “But he was always so supportive of the movie, ever since the very beginning and the first few drafts. I remember he would read them and he really liked it.”
Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk’s new movie is a Neon horror comedy that revolves around a masked killer who is picking up summer camp counselors. All of these weird events are shown to be taking place during a Canadian road trip.

Having an intriguing conversation with the outlet, the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire actor also noted how his experience of working with Jesse Eisenberg on the 2022 film “really stuck with me,” also shedding light on the advice the Now You See Me actor had given him that helped Wolfhard in future.
Stating that it was largely fascinating to see Eisenberg work, Finn Wolfhard also mentioned that he still remembers how the Zombieland actor was “light” all the time on the set. He then went on to recall the chill and fun environment the director had created on the set.
Hell Of Summer also stars Fred Hechinger, Abby Quinn, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, and more fabulous actors.
The comedy horror is now in theaters.
