New England Patriots rookie minicamp finished up last weekend, and we are getting our first look at some of the Patriots’ rookies in action. This includes left tackle Will Campbell, who was photographed protecting quarterback Drake Maye’s blindside.
Campbell was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft with the Patriots putting significant focus on rebuilding the offensive line. Many viewed Campbell as the top offensive line prospect in the draft, and now, he’ll have an opportunity to prove it in New England.
The rookie offensive lineman is already getting a feel for life at the next level at rookie minicamp and offseason workouts.
Time will tell how Campbell does in his rookie season. Nevertheless, there are reasons to be optimistic and excited, as the Patriots look to bounce back as an organization.
Maye will have another year under his belt at quarterback, and the team has done a much better job of surrounding him with improved offensive talent. Campbell’s arrival could be the missing piece that finally gets the Patriots’ struggling offensive line on track.
