A former Nebraska wide receiver plans to enter the transfer portal. Minnesota receiver Malachi Coleman is leaving after two seasons with the program.

Coleman transferred to Minnesota after spending two seasons at Nebraska. In 2023, he appeared in 11 games and had eight catches for 139 yards and one touchdown.

The Lincoln native was the No. 11 overall wide receiver in the 2023 class and the top player in his class from the state of Nebraska, according to the 247Sports Rankings.

This past season, he had five catches for 85 yards. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
