The Georgia Bulldogs are a finalist for one of the top wide receivers in the 2026 recruiting class. The Bulldogs found out this week when that wideout will make his final decision.
On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Wednesday five-star receiver Cederian Morgan will announce where he plans to play college football on July 2. According to the On3 Industry rankings, Morgan is the No. 2 wideout in the class.
The Bulldogs may have received a bump in Morgan’s recruitment with quarterback Jared Curtis’ announcement this past week. On May 5, Curtis announced his commitment to Georgia.
Curtis is the No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class based on the 247 Sports composite rankings.
As it is, the Bulldogs were already in Morgan’s top six along with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Colorado Buffaloes, Auburn Tigers and Florida Gators.
SI on Gators’ Cam Parker reported Thursday that Morgan will visit all six schools in May and June. Morgan will be in Athens, Ga., the weekend of May 16.

With Morgan being an Alexander City, Ala., native, the Crimson Tide and Tigers could have the edge in Morgan’s recruitment. However, neither Alabama nor Auburn have landed a quarterback yet in the 2026 recruiting class.
With Curtis in the fold, the Bulldogs are in the conversation to earn the No. 1 overall recruiting ranking for the 2026 class.
According to the 247 Sports composite rankings, Morgan is the No. 3 receiver and top Alabama prospect for 2026. The receiver is also the 13th-ranked recruit nationally.
The Bulldogs have gained two commitments from two receivers in the 2026 class — four-star Vance Spafford and three-star Brady Marchese.
