The New York Giants played their second preseason game on Saturday night as they battled their MetLife Stadium co-tenants, the New York Jets. Earlier in the week, they also held back-to-back joint practices.
The Giants ended up winning in dominating fashion behind another gem performance by Jaxson Dart. He finished the game, going 14-for-16 for 137 yards and a touchdown, adding two rushes for five yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Russell Wilson had a nice highlight deep throw to Beaux Collins for 80 yards in the first quarter. Wilson later had an interception on a pass in the end zone intended for Collins, where the two were certainly not on the same page.
There were plenty of nice plays on the defensive side of the ball, including a really nice pass breakup by Cor’Dale Flott.
Elijah Chatman got in the game for some snaps on offense at fullback, which could help him find a roster spot moving forward.
Evan Neal and Marcus Mbow were noticeable on the offensive line, and Lil’jordan Humphrey continued to be involved in the offense with Malik Nabers sidelined.
