Golfer Aaron Rai’s wife stole the show when she showed off her impressive swing during the Masters Par 3 contest.
Rai, 30, was joined by his partner, who is rumored to be women’s tour professional Gaurika Bishnoi, for the family-focused match at Augusta National Golf Club on Wednesday, April 9 before the tournament kicked off on Thursday.
The contest gives players the chance to bring their wives and kids along before the competition begins.
In videos shared by the Masters and the PGA Tour, Rai’s partner showed off her impressive swing. “Aaron Rai’s wife has game! She just hit it closer than him @TheMasters Par 3 Contest,” the PGA Tour X account wrote.

“Her swing is perfect,” one user wrote in the replies, while another said, “She’s a keeper.”
After her impressive swing, the spectators applauded and Rai, who is from Wolverhampton in England, shared a sweet celebration with his wife. The couple were all smiles as they fist-bumped each other and hugged on the course.

In a comment on the Masters Facebook page, a viewer wrote, “Stuff like this is what makes The Masters so much more. The families, all the lead up stuff to it from the Drive Chip and Putt and the women’s tournament.”
Rai played well on the first day of the tournament, which officially began on Thursday and concludes on Sunday, April 13. He is currently tied for first place with Germany’s Stephan Jaeger.

Ahead of the tournament, Rai said it’s “extremely special” to be competing in his first-ever Masters. “It’s a dream come true to finally get to play in the Masters. I watched videos of Tiger winning for the first time in 1997 but I didn’t have any memories of that live.”
Rai recalled Woods’ 2001 Masters win as the first memory he has of watching the golf legend live. “And obviously the iconic chip-in during the 2005 Masters on No. 16 was something I will always cherish,” he added.
